Hi, though we had included our HP no. in the application, so besides receiving the SMS, just to check if the student has to go back to their own primary school to to get the posting results as well as the PSLE Certificate? This is what my DD heard from last year Ex-students. Is it true? Thanks.

You need to get the offical cert from the school; result will be mailed/SMS to your address/mobile number.

I just confirmed with the school teacher this morning.

Hi, so tomorrow have to go the school and get the Cert? What things to bring to report to the sec school the next day to prove that you have been posted to that school? Thanks.

The cert is ready for collection since last week. You kid needs to wear pri school uniform to report to the secondary school. The letter/SMS will state the timing and other things to bring.

I don’t know about other schools if the same, last year, RVHS collected the report books on the reporting Sec school day (which is 23rd for this year). But if you forget to bring or need for appeal purpose, its still OK to submit your report book to the teachers when school starts in Jan.

You don't need any cert or go to school tomorrow. You only need to go to the primary school to get the posting result if you have no internet access or didn't give your mobile no for them to contact you. All you need to do is to bring along the PSLE results and report book on 23rd when reporting to the secondary school your child is posted. If you want a transfer, you have to get a consent form from the principal and go to the school you want to transfer to appeal. The secondary school that your child is posted to has a list of students with all their particulars. Your child will be assigned to a class when his report book is collected. PSLE cert is for your file and the school will inform you when it's ready for collection.

I’d like to wish all the parents and children all the best with the S1 posting. 12 more hours to go!

                VitoRelax:
Just curious, a few questions here:

                Q1:
When we recieve the sms, it will state the name of the school or will it be just state the school code (which we then have to refer to the MOE book again) ?

                Q2:
In the Form S1 which we filled online, I remember I filled in my hp number & my DW's hp num. Will both of us get the sms ?

                Thanks

Hi, VitoRelax, i don't know about Q1, but you'll get sms to both numbers
                Good luck 😄

I thought someone in this forum mentioned no need to inform the sch that one is posted to when appealing to another sch.

Can parent also go to the allocated class? Or parents to go to hall for separate briefing and getting booklist?
