I know Raffles Voices (Choir) does..

Think most uniform groups too, but I am not sure which ones..

Thanks.....My DS is not good in sport as well as no music background, I am so worry what type of CCA can he join other than uniform groups. Furthermore my DS is not fit too.

You can refer to your S1 option form, the reporting time to the secondary school at 8.30am.

Is it true that some of the textbooks will not be used in the classroom, and instead used for personal reference?

When you reserve the books for your child, are you allowed to pick which books you want? (It seems troublesome for the person on the other side to ask one by one which books you want, see)

I'm a kid (Sorry for intruding on your turf, parents) and I'm trying to reserve schoolbooks just like what some of you have done.

No, you are not intruding at all.. Just curious, you are doing all these by yourself (order books, buying uniforms, seeking info at KSP etc)? Wow.. That's amazing!

Yes, most of the textbooks are for reference only.. Teachers hardly use them in class.. Believe you can choose the items that you wish to buy.. You can call the bookshop to confirm that..

:scratchhead:[/quote]Your DS does not need to decide on his CCA when school starts. There will be a CCA Trail sometime in February, where the various CCAs will display what they have to offer. The boys can ask questions and find out for themselves which CCAs suit them. However, the boys may have to go for auditions or selections for some CCAs (mainly aesthetics, sports & Debate)..

Not to worry. After the Registration Day, you will have a better idea what to expect. A detailed schedule will be given out on that day, together with the various forms..

May I know if RI allows students to wear just white school or any specific colour kind of track school and socks?

ignore what firefly38 said. you can only wear white socks, be it ankle socks or normal socks. as for shoes, your shoe must be at least 70% white with white shoe laces.

received an sms about the Malaysian Montage trip. If u refer to the packlist, under CLOTHING item 4 - school uniform shirt (raffles polo or school shirt). If ds has no raffles polo shirt, then which other shirt are they referring to ? The white one? But won't they look funny wearing the white shirt and pe shorts?

I think they are referring to either full school uniform or the Friday attire (with black polo shirt)
