Yes... I am getting worried for Mr Horse now.... Need to look at statistics. Don't think no. of horse baby can be compared to dragon though when I come to think about it, horse is also a favored horoscope... For some reasons, I thought the no. of babies was a downward declining trend from snake to horse hence the baby bonus that was introduced during the year of horse ??? I recalled that I didn't get any bonus for Ms Snake but we got a bonus for Mr Horse or maybe be he was the 2nd child????RI increase to 263 this year.

Just came back from dhs after submitting the appeal.
256 is the cutoff. Dd probably missed by decimals.
Parents will be informed next week if short listed for interview.
Sigh, 1 point can make such a difference. -

I think this is wrong concept. The COP of school is not dependent on # of babies. Neither is it a trend. It is just a relative statistical computation based on performance of whole cohort and the difficulty level of the different subject paper also plays a part. Some years it will be up, and some years it will be lower. If you noticed carefully, on years whereby there is a slightly more challenging paper for a particular subject, the T-score for that subject for those that have done well or above average will shoot up and thus bringing up the COP of schools in general.

Baby bonus was introduced in 2001 & only 2nd child got it. From 2005, first child is also entitled to baby bonus. Many parents who have dragon babies will prefer their 2nd child to be born in the year of horse.
