              DS refers to Dear Son or Darling Son
              DD referes to Dear Daughter or Darling Daughter
              Actually the D can be anything you prefer it to be.
              Jus add W for Wifey, H for Husband & the list goes
              on... And you can get more of the jargon here.

                  Have not decided on the bag but looks like deuter and Impact are the preferred ones. I saw this German brand herlitz from Artfriend just now and they are quite light compared to my son's bag from Ergoworks. Still scouting around for one.

                        Yes, would be considering Deuter as I just realised that my son's bag is from Impact. Would like him to try something different. Next step, source for a deals. πŸ˜‰
