Juz curious about sji events today … Do they have class allocated interaction and cca trial started?
Or does these start in jan with orientation ?

Class allocation will be published on 31Dec through class website (secured).

CCA trial will be when school opens, week 1.

Thanks Emoh. Just called the vendor and told me that they are going to change the uniform (shirts and shorts) for sec 1 and no stock yet. Those that I have purchased will need to return for exchange when stock r ready.

The shirt I bought today are very thick and seem unbreatheable as what you have described. Did you manage to exchange yours?

Hey there, i.m pretty new here ..glad to join & see u guys...

Went to Sji registration yday & it seems i'm pretty impressed wif the things there. My son has an option of taking IBDP but i'm a bit skeptical as to whether my son can cope wif the vigorous assignments stuffs like dat..anyway he got 258...
So anyone has any advise.??? Appreciate the feedback...thanks

No.. I have not changed yet as the pants aren't ready yet. If the shirt is still as thick, I am not sure what is the difference between the old and the new. Have not seen the new ones yet:)

No change for affiliated school...still 238.

congrats on your son for doing do well, you should let him give it a try to stretch himself

Thanks emoh in info about IB intake. So we have :


IB Year 5 in 2013 - graduate IB Year 6 in 2014
IP Year 3 in 2014 - graduate IB Year 6 in 2017
.........
first IP Year 1 2013 - graduate IB year 6 2018

So the IB programme would already produced several batches of graduates by the time first batch S1 enters the IB.

I join emoh in congratulations to you. The COP for SJI-ip Year1 intake is 251 this year so your son is \"comfortably\" within. During the open house on 19Nov, it was mentioned in the briefing that \"at risks\" students will be identified and put to Olevel tracks by end year 2. I see this as the \"advantage\" of a dual-track school.

Uniforms : I cannot take last minue rush so I went to the alternative tailor at Beauty World to get the uniforms. The shorts has a small \"sji\" at the back.

We are waiting for school opening day with excitement !!!
