It's based on total overall % from all subjects not individual

I appealed to scgs and I am wondering what are my chances of succeeding. The cop this year is 251, but my aggregate is only 248 (the cop of last year). Plus my HMT points, it is 250 (though scgs is not a sap school, the appeal form required "bonus points").

I was in the best class in my primary school, and my grades have always been above average. Somehow I screwed up my PSLE. I was expecting at least a 250. Having been disappointed for 2 times (my PSLE result and S1 Posting result), I don’t want to be disappointed a third time. Having said that, I wish to have some sort of mental preparation. I know CCA counts a lot for scgs and most appeals, but my CCA was a club while scgs emphasizes on arts. In the leadership area however, I have many leadership positions.
So for those of you who have had such experience, what are my supposedly chances exactly?

Hi I think you have a small chance. I just graduated from sc, and my year the sec 1 COP was 252/253 I think and I got 254 which was the cop for the previous year. I was posted to the third class and in my class there were 3 or 4 people who appealed in with 250/251. I don't think they had any leadership positions in their primary school. If you manage to get into the interview stage, be sure to stress your leadership qualities without coming off as standoffish. Best of luck. If you have questions about sc you can pm me as well

1. Are the girls given diaries to write their homework etc.?
2. What length is the uniform supposed to be?
3. What colour watches are allowed?

1) Yes, there's an annual school diary. However most students just chuck it aside and use their own cute cute diaries.
2) Knee length. But by the time you go upper sec most girls their skirt is above knee by quite a bit either cos grow or alter. Most girls fold their skirt to make shorter instead of altering though, so when prefects come to book just unfold quickly haha.

Textbook based, but I'm the last batch before the new IP stream. I've walked past the sec 1 classes this year and saw them using laptops.
