Hi all, I'm wondering about the food here in the canteen of Crescent . The Price & quality.

We were at the St Nics Open Hse, tried most of their food . Yummy and very very reasonably priced. Most food were under $2. Quantity wise definitely sufficient for recess but may need to eat / buy more for a main meal.

Comparative , in Cedar, the price is higher. Only tried a dish or 2 and they cost abt $2-$3 each.

How much would my DD require for recess ?

Many thanks

Hi,
Both yr DD and u so lucky to have tried 2 different sch's canteen fd.
St Nicks has more stalls as both Pri and Sec levels are using same canteen.
So prices will be cheaper, I think.

Btw, yr DD's friend whose is appealing to Crescent, any result?

Hi Chip n Dale, nope. As of yesterday, there was still no news
Morning Seestar,
Still have a few more days before school reopens, may get call from school.
In fact, appeal cases can stretch up to lst week when school opens.
Get yr DD's frd to call Crescent. Don't give up.

I have a Pressing Problem now.
I called school and was told there's no school bus catered in the morning.
But there are Pte school bus aldy arranged by parents.
Im hoping any Crescentians' parents to provide me the detail of the Bus Company.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Chip n Dale, I’m trying to get my girl to take the bus / MRT herself.

Where do u live ?
My girl’s friend seem very confident in getting in. Even asked for the book list from my girl.

Hello,
I'm currently putting up in Sengkang temporally.
You?
It's gd to be confident. What's her score? Maybe has niche in certain ECA.
Hope some parents can provide me the number of the Pte bus driver soon.
Thank you.

I’m staying at Pasir Ris.

My DD scored 248. Her friend scored 243.
The journey should take her abt 1hr.
maybe can obtain the contact for Sch bus operators from the Sch ?

Yr DD scored well.
243 shd stand a chance, but I saw a gigantic stack of appeal forms in the General Office the other time.
It also depends the number of vacancy, any girls transferring out.
I called school.
Was infd politely by staff that school doesn't get involve in the bus service issue since it's Sec level.
Thank you.

Regards to bus service to Crescent, staff advised to approach bus drivers personally on lst day of school if no response from Kiasu parents thread.

Thanks to the helpful admin staff.
Another thing I like abt this school:
its a well-known school yet the admin staff are helpful and not snobbish.
Unlike other premier schools, staff are unfriendly towards parents as they know their schools are sought after by parents.

Hi Chip N Dale

Yes! the admin staff are friendly. On the reporting day, we saw a group of private bus operator there. however, we did not get their service.

Was there during the school registration day and got the contacts for one of the pte bus service operators there. You can try contacting Simon Ng, Hp 9273 4388 (Company name is MSN Transport). If I recalled correctly, they quoted $120 for pick up from Sengkang, which I personally think is really high.

Called Pte bus driver.

Understand that there are abt 6-9 Crescentians stay’g in Sengkang, taking this transport.
May I know if any Sengkang parents interested in car pool, that is taking turns to fetch our girls to Crescent?
Thank you.
