can anybody tell me if this sch is worth sending my chld to?

      not worth

any particular reason? are you from this school?
if a parent start by questioning whether it is worth sending their kid to the school, then obviously it does not worth it. the prejudice is already there.

Hi, the Sec 4E and 5N classrooms, which are located on the ground floor are air-conditioned. This is because the ground floor is the hottest, so the school would like to provide a comfortable and conducive environment for the girls to study in.... The Sec 1 classrooms are located at the very top floor ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it is about $16? Because it is autonomous school... :boogie:

Just to check if your girl is bringing any books on the 1st day of school? since time table is not out yet.. the orientation pack didnt mention to bring books too.

Also, anyone knows what is the usual dismissal time?

Do not need to bring books on the first day as there is a camp. Usual dismissal time should be 2pm+ if I am not wrong.

Do the students need to wear/bring PE attire as there is a camp??

Hi parents, does anyone know how the girls are grouped into classes? Is it based on their PSLE aggregate score? Thanks

Students are classed not in clear order, but the best class is 1/1. There is a mix of students from St Margs Primary and non-affliated schools in each class.

Do share with us the form teacher and co-form of your daughterโ€™s class. I am an ex-student, who graduated a few years back and can help you if you need to know more information.

Hope your girls are enjoying the orientation so far.

Thanks lovelydaisies. Yes she is enjoying herself so far. May I know if the girls would be streamed again to another sec 2 class to stay in the same class until end of sec 2.

                        To ASLMUM:

From what I know, the girls will more or less be in the same class as they were in Sec1 (e.g from 1/1 to 2/1). However, there are exceptions, if many students do very well or many did not do well at all. But most times, the change of classes is minimal, maybe affects only 2 or 3 girls.

In the event of a change in class, the house your daughter is in would most likely change too. The school assigns the houses according to class so they can bond together as a house as well. This would mean buying new house shirts every other year if there is a change of class. What my friends and I used to do, is that we exchange shirts, so we do not have to spend the money to get new ones.

What class is your daughter in?
