Congratulation!!!
Is it means that if we didnot get a call from NJC, we donot have any chance for the appeal?
How is the chance to get in NJC if got informed in waiting list of appeal? -
Hi new julie, I have no idea what are the chances. We’re prepared for her to go to her posted school which is a school that I personally would have chosen for myself but character wise, we think NJC will suit her better. Would just like to know the results!

Yes. We also did the same things. But RVHS will be started on 2 Jan. We still have not bought the Textbook and uniform yet. If cannot get in NJC, it is better to know earlier so that we can arrange our time. -
Is anyone kids appealing out of Maris Stella, not sure if its tough to appeal to that school?
-
This yr COP for MSHS is 234. Hope the info helps you in deciding if you wish to proceed with the appeal.
-
Seems like COP of most schools went up. My son 225, guess its very slim chances. I thought with IP, more students will be flowing to those schools offering IP. Didnt expect so many traditional schools’ COP to go up so much

I am in the same boat as you and waiting for the appeal result. But some schools will need to wait till first week of January to finalize the appeal process.

Appeal for Transfer after Posting
MOE will consider appeals for transfer after the S1 Posting Exercise. Such transfers are subject to availability of vacancies and will only be considered for pupils with:
■Serious medical conditions (e.g. chronic heart conditions, kidney problems)
■Dyslexia and Autistic Spectrum Disorder
■Physical disabilities (e.g. using wheelchair, crutches)
■Change of residential address after the deadline (see Important Dates for 2010 PSLE Pupils)
Such pupils should first report at the secondary school that they were posted to on the next working day after the release of posting results, and apply for school transfer there. All applications must be accompanied with the relevant supporting documents.
The results of the appeals will only be made known to applicants in end-December or early-January. Applicants may check the outcome of their appeals with the secondary school that they were posted to. -

Yes appeal directly with the schools. The wait is very anxious.
