My son is now continuing with her for Sec 1. Her fees are quite expensive though

I encourage you to join. My son was with her for 2 months, grade improved from B to A in PSLE.She said if my son had joined her for at least 6 months, she would be confident to make it A*

It seems from this forum that alot of parents are appealing, but how come I called one of the schools, they said they dont have students appealing out of the school yet! Cant be, the movement should be very great this year as many students didnt get their first choices! I am sure there will be tons of appeals at the schools. Or perhaps its xmas holiday season, so the appeals have not been processed?

Seems like COP of most schools went up. My son 225, guess its very slim chances. I thought with IP, more students will be flowing to those schools offering IP. Didnt expect so many traditional schools' COP to go up so much

Yes Bonnie. I gave up appealing after I found out the COP of our 1st choice went up by 4 points this year. My DS was 1 mark below last year COP. With this year COP, he is now 5 marks below. Well we are glad we skipped the anxiety of waiting for appealing results.

Not forgetting this batch is also the dragon baby boom year. More pupils competing for the seats.

Has anyone gotten any phone calls from schools on appeals? I called MOE, they said schools are told to release results for appeals only after MOE mass appeal exercise is finalised on 2 Jan, 2013

Yes appeal directly with the schools. The wait is very anxious.
