have you bought school bags for your dd?

I bought the magenta colored bag from Deuter but realised its not ergonomic but she really liked the color… am thinking of going to Suntec with her on the 6th Jan (we will see first what other kids are using as their school bags–on the 2nd and 3rd and will take our queue from there)…

am thinking of buying either SPI or Buddy ergonomic school bag…as they have designs that are quite girly (my dd loves girly things)

I remember during my daughter's P1 orientation back in 2008, the previous principal said the most important aspect of the school bag is the weight of the bag itself, so that it doesn't add to the weight that the student needs to carry. So my wife and I never really bothered about ergonomic bags. But now that my daughter is an incoming P5, the looks of the bag has become one of the most important factors as far as my daughter is concerned. We ended up buying a purple Dr. Kong backpack with nice designs 🙂

          hi maximo,

in that case it seems the Deuter non-ergo bag seems to be a fit for my girl, its less than 600gms when empty…

Can anyone advise me on the school bus fees from rifle range road to chij olqp?

We were quoted $208 by xin sheng transport and think that its expensive.

              Any alternatives? 🤷

We live just behind rail mall which is less than 2km,we were told to pay 95 sgd a month., pick up time is 6:50am, which i find too early… Our neighbor who drive their twins every morning to oqlp leaves at abt 7:30 am sometimes 7 am

                  Hello

I would like to check if anyone is taking xingsheng transport’s bus to school.
The charges seem expensive (even if they are collecting over 10 months)
The distance of my house to the school is about 9.5km and I have been quoted 320 per month for 2 way. My friend’s kid who lives in yishun but attends a school along dunearn (15.5km) pays 170 a month for 12months which makes it 204 per month over 10 months. It’s a different bus company but the difference it seems on the high side. Appreciate any thoughts from you.

                  Thank you .

Hi everyone! My dd is going to P1. Based on the schedule for 1st 2 days of sch, can i confirm that first 2 days no books are needed? Just waterbottle and maybe pencils?
