Few yrs back, when we visited Taiwan, though our itinerary included a visit to Alishan but we did not get there

As it was raining 2 days before the Alishan tour, the road was closed becos of fear of landslides....
Also good lah....otherwise, we would have to start our journey fr hotel at 4.30 a.m.... :yikes:
And the nite before, we only got to check in the hotel ard midnite..... šŸ˜“

Yes, our tour guide told us NOT to self drive to Alishan as it is very dangerous becos of the narrow and winding roads.....

I really Love Taiwan.....the pple there are so warm .....will make another trip there soon.....

accidents happen not just because of road conditions, the taiwanese drivers here are also very 'hiong'.

we are actually more scared of the way the local people drive than the road /weather conditions lei.
        True......the drivers are really \" hiong\" ....
They never Stop at traffic light crossings......pedestarians have to give way to them..... šŸ˜‰
