Hi, I’m new here. My kid just got admission into QPS for P2. He was earlier at GIIS so am a bit worried on how he’ll adjust to the local school here. Also we’re at Bukit Timah and its about 30 mins bus-ride away for him…


Any thoughts, suggestions folks? Happy to network with fellow parents with kids in P2.

My son is joining P2 from Jan 2nd at QPS. While I’m delighted for my kid’s admission, I have a problem to resolve. The school transport guy can’t pick-up and drop-off my son from BkTimah (near King Albert Park), and after repeated requests he’s made it clear that it can’t be done.

Can you please advise me on a suitable transport operator whom I may get in touch with? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.. i talked to the Driver coordinator, Joey.
She said is unable/ have stopped any transport service to Bt Timah area. I was enquiring on the bus service for my DD for 2014... but sadly, they are focusing only around the area to the max of \"Dover\" road...

Hmmmm if you have any contact of transport.. i appreicate the sharing too
I'm kindda desperate and was even thinking of engaging a private Taxi driver... hmmm sigh.. :lightrod:

Queenstown Pri School (Qtps for short) is having their open house on the 13th July (next Sat). It will be good to see what they offer. Maybe you can ask someone to check out the school on your behalf if you are not able to make it.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately all my family members are travelling during this period, hence nobody around to make the visit. Even their website seems to be under construction. Not able to access much of their information.

I also understand that Hindi is offered as a second language in QTPS. Any feedback on hindi classes?
