Now labelling his books & packing his bag...

Was wondering shd I fill up his jotter & exercise books or the teacher will guide them what to write... Those confusing moments... Haha...

Can I check which Maths book should be brought to school on Day 1? There's a pupil's workbook and pupil's activity book Part 1a and 1b, but I don't see an activity book Part 1 and 2??? I think I'm a confused mum!!

Haha..i was confused abt the same thg when i pack his bag today. In the end i pack for him the activity bk with part 1a and 1b, figure tt since they mention got part 1 and 2, then shd be the 1a and 1b bks.

Hope our kids can adapt well. I hope mine wun cry. He can be vvv drama esp if im ard. :xedfingers:

Mine cried for a couple of months. Really embarresing to have him clinging on to me every morning with big drops of tears flowing down. My heart felt so pained though I know it really is a non-issue.

Thank you very much for all the advice! I guess I'll pack Part 1a workbook and activity book and see which one he comes back with . Getting excited and kan cheong at the same time!

Hi anyone can help to list out what are the items to bring on first day? Which textbook,exercise books, stationery etc.? I misplaced the orientation booklet so am totally lost now.

Here you go:

Wed: EL- STELLAR Handwriting Portfolio, Math- Activity bk Part 1 & 2, MT Activity bk 1A

Thurs: EL- Exploring Reading & Wordbank bk & Comprehension Skills bk,
Math- Homework bk 1A, MT- Square exercise bk & jotter bk, Health Ed- Activity bk

Fri- EL- Grammar workbook P1 & pink file, Math- blue file, MT Civic & Moral Ed Activity bk & yellow file, Social Studies- Activity bk & purple file

The teachers will be keeping these books in school for your kid. Also, for the first 3 days of school (2 - 4 Jan), P1 recess will be from 9.45 to 10.15am. P1 dismissal will be at 1.15pm.

That's the key info in the handbook.

If I remember correctly, the last page of the handbook lists out the books to bring for the 1st 3 days of school. The timetable will be given to the kids during the 1st week of school.
