Different from last year. I think it is better that the camp delayed a bit. Why Y3 OBS camp is so rush? Why not in March or at least second/ third wk of Jan?

I guess most Y1 will not get to sleep much during the camp. Imagine all the sleepy faces when they go for their 1st Foreign Lnaguage on the 11th . Poor kids, poor teacher. If they are not going home after the camp, must remind them to bring their Foreign Language book along for the camp, lol.

3rd Jan : CCA Orientation 2.30pm - 5.30pm.

4th Jan : Badge Initiation

7th Jan - 22nd Jan : CCA Selection Trials (is this the audition thingy?)

10th - 11th Jan : Camp

11th Jan : Foreign language 1st lesson

25th Jan - 30th Jan : CCA Options Exercise (Is this the results ?)

Gosh, I never had to take so many days leaves for dd's P1 entrance to school. I suggest for parents whose kids are doing PSLE next year, save some of your leaves for PSLE results collection, secondary school registration, secondary school appeal (if needed), MEP Audition, Foreign Language registration, CCA Orientation, parents get together on last day of Orientation............uh, did I miss out anything ?

You don't have to take leave for most of these events. My parents never took any leave for my PSLE, nor did they do so for Reporting Day or any part of Orientation, and it was ok. So if you really can't make it, don't worry Though my friends' parents did go for Reporting Day and watched the Orientation concert also (ours was on Saturday), they did not go for the rest of Orientation either

Year 1s are to report by 725 am as usual, there will be an Orientation program in the morning followed by lunch break and then CCAO
