Is it necessary to write the school in Chinese on the Chinese books? Anyone knows how to write?

Usually I just write Paya Lebar MGS Primary or PLMGPS

This is their chinese version if you wish to use 巴耶利峇美以美女子小学

What r we suppose to write?
Full name?
What subject?
Parents write or school expects the child to write?
Can we use any name stickers?

BB Love, do you have the orientation paper which states what should be written for each the exercise books?

No name stickers allowed from what i know. Preferred parents or if your child can write neatly, they can do it their own.

Need to ask about the things to bring on their first day. When they say abt colored pencils, they r the ones tt we bought blue colored pencils or the school's recommended 'Omni' brand?
Is it ok tt I get other brands or must it really follow exactly?

My girl is in Pri 2 Hu in 2013. She said that there is a list of standard items/books to bring on the first day but she has lost it. Anyone know what to bring? Where could I get the list? I checked the school website but it’s not there.

Hi parents, DD1 is starting P1 tomorrow and I just went through the first day list. Can I know how does a "homework file" look like? Can I use the transparent A4 folder with a buckle that was given to us on orientation day?

Your \"homework file\" is fine. At first, we used a clear folder with many transparent pages. But later we learnt just any folder will do, in fact those with pages are more troublesome according to the teacher cos the child has to flip and slot in, and it's more bulky in the bag. The purpose for the file is for bringing back letters and sheets of homework. The parents should check and clear everyday.
