Appeal Secondary One Posting

Hi parents,

Anyone's DD successfully appealed to TKGS? My DD is transferring out of TKGS and have bought the books, stationery and 1 Set of uniform (Blouse-Size 14, Pinafore-Size 36). All books are brand new and wrapped up. Uniforms in original packaging. Pls PM me if interested.

Congrats! What is your dd tscore?[/quote]My neighbour told me her son got into Commonwealth Sec on appeal. 12 points below cut off. He is a cub scout with lots of awards! Looks like CCA does matter in appeals.

My nephew got offered VS but turned it down because his appeal at another school went through. So there will surely be some places available later if there are more cases like him....

Yes. Apparently, many parents put in multiple appeals. That complicate matters for those still waiting! Hopefully, these schools will give parents a deadline to accept the appeal success and if they do not accept, school should quickly offer to the next in line!

I think child’s performance at the interview also played a part. Would suggest that if your child feels confident enough to handle the interview on his own, let him do it. That was what my friend’s son did and he was outstanding. VP was highly impressed as it showed the kid’s confidence.

My son was called on 27 Dec 2012 and was successful in his appeal to SJI. So happy.

So efficient as the school conducted a briefing on 28 Dec afternoon on reporting, uniform and books buying etc. My son has started preparing and will blend in well with his schoolmates on 1st day onwards... Anyone has anything to share on this school?

Congrats. some of us are waiting and dec or one pt diff fr cop. Juz to find out more. Is ya ds from non affiliate? is he having a particular cca? Do u mind sharing ya son tscore?
