Hi kirakira,
Just read on another thread that the COP to IB may have been 256 last year. So there is still hope, but not very sure ... What have u decided ??
Still not decided but we are very comfortable with sji.
we are really in the same boat !!
So where is ur son posted to? Would u be going to ACS(I) t'row :celebrate: ??? -
harini:
:celebrate:Thanks Jennifer. So we shlould be there by 8 am. Its good we don't need to bring anything or rush to buy stuff.
If I remember right ur son had a DSA at ACS(I). Do u stay in the west? See u t'row, maybe we can meet o say hello :celebrate:
We are giving our boy a chance to appeal at NJC though we like ACS(I) very much.
I was relieved to know we do not need to buy anything at ACS(I) tmr. At least can hope that the appeal result is out before sch starts on 5 Jan 2010.
ACS(I) website is very informative. The term calendar and CCA schedule are so detailed. Very impressive. -
Jennifer:

We reached there very early ard 7.45am
We then registered, shocked to see the form already circled "Express", immediately pointed out the error as it should be "IB".
For those in IB, please call the school to double check the form has been circled correctly IF you did not notice then or could not confirm now.

Oh, it is not true no need to bring anything- the sch needs the MOE slip (inside the S1 Option Form collected from the pri sch on 26 Nov 2009) to prove the EESIS scholarship eligibility. As we did not bring this but bought with us the PSLE posting slip (printed from S1 on 22 Dec 2009), we handed in the PSLE posting slip but would be submitting the MOE slip when sch re-opens on 5 Jan 2010.
Btw, there are two suppliers of uniforms. We were approached by BiBi & BaBa staff who claimed that their quality is better. Hubby being the more particular person about clothing comfort confirmed that BiBi & BaBa uniform are softer esp the collars.
I asked the students who were doing the registration for us which supplier they buy from. One of them said he buys from both but did not know if the price is different.
