Is it alright that I do not attend the CCA orientation? My dd told me that she didn't need me to attend it.
You can visit the booths and performances set up by the various CCAs to see what's on offer, what the CCAs do, the skill sets required, audition/trials dates, training hours, overseas trips etc. You can also participate in some of the activities. My dd's year they opened up the shooting range which was very popular among the girls who wanted to see whether they were good shots. Not sure if this is still done.gladtobemom:
What are parents supposed to do at the CCA orientation today?
Is there any official briefing today?
Have you been briefed on CCA already? If not, there'll likely be a short briefing for parents.
Thanks. -

Hmm..I really can't recall if there was any CCA briefing on reporting day; probably not.
I'm still undecided on whether to attend today... -

If you're busy, it's really not necessary to go. The girls can explore the CCAO booths on their own and they'll be briefed thoroughly as well. It's more a for information kind of thing for the parents. Not important.
Thanks jtoh.jtoh:
