        ngl2010:

Does the best P6 class in schools always get HODs to teach that class in order to push the school's results? :scratchhead:
Most schools HODs teach the top 1 or 2 classes. They usually take 1 or 2 P6 classes only.

              Errrmmmm.

              HOD means sure good??

DS was in best class but was complaining big time on one of his subject HOD. He is one who is rather tolerant & respectful & seldom complain about his teachers. When I asked him to make comparisons (even including his tuition teachers), the HOD was rated worst. Apparently experienced but attitude …

But whatever it is/was, we try to work around what we have & given.

I think good in managing people does not necessarily mean good in teaching. DS had a Level Head taught him in P4 and DS complained that the teaching is not clear. I am worried now that he is given 2 HODs out of 4 subjects. I wish he is given last year's teachers. Anyway, we will make do with whatever given :xedfingers:

Becontented for my case i know the teachers hands on i know they are good lol. I always make it a point to know the teachers well even the principal in DD case i could raise up my doubts about her last yr teacher who basically was not away not tuned to the bullying she went through even when i raise the issue with her.

Ds wise this yr is his crucial yr i am thankful the teachers he got i know them well enough to know what they are capable of.

No offence...but HODs are very busy with this and that meeting.
My friend's daughter was in a class taught by 2 HODs...half the time MIA because of the endless meetings.

it's not that HODs want to go MIA but they have many meetings.
