Yup, her daughter made the decision to stay in West spring Secondary School as she have made a few new friends and does not want to leave them.

I think that the offer came too late.... most children will not want to change after making new friends.

From a process POV, just wondering if MOE can actually release the school posting earlier and allow the appeal (transfers in and out) to be finalise before school reopens.


This will avoid situations where parents buy the uniforms and exercise books that will go to waste if not sold.

I totally agree with flyaway and Councillor. I had the same situation too and my gal decided not to accept the appeal school. All the best to her and all the kids out there, regardless they stay put or shift to their appeal school!

Same here. My Dd also decided not to accept the appeal school. The appeal result came too late. She has already made a few friends in her posted school and she likes her friends and teachers. So decided to reject the appeal.

It's better to call and get a closure for your kid.....be it good / bad news. Your kid needs to have certainty as school year has started, and settle down to whichever school he is with.
