It was in the camping list but my DS told me ytd that these are optional items. Anyway, I've prepared ear plugs for him but not the booties

ok, thanks. the list is quite long. I don't think i will get the ear plugs or booties for him, only \"essential\" stuff.
He is not looking forward to the camp-- he had a camp in P5, which made him appreciate his comfortable home v much

Hi, Jojodion.

My DS will be discussing with his Dad over the weekend to finalize his CCA choices. Most likely NCC or NPCC. He is afraid of heights, and apprehensive about the prospect of climbing up obstacles or walking rope bridges etc, so he refuses to consider scouts.
He commented that there are not many choices of CCA especially in sports.
Whats ur DS going to join?

I was told that there will be low flying aircrafts around that area ..thus I think it will be better to standby the earplug for your DS.

We're having a headache now because he wanted to join NCC(Air) or Scouts but he has enrichment lesson at 7pm on every Fri which the timing already crash with both CCA (end by 6pm).

So now he only left with Sports and Club to choose with. I know he was disappointed but I cant help it as I couldnt change his enrichment schedule.

Not possible as the centre only have 1 class per week for the course he's taking. But if the CCA can finish by 5pm on Fri then he still can participate.

I would prefer him to join uniform group b'cos there are more activities and team work which i believe they will enjoy it.

I'm a girl guide when I'm in Sec Sch and it was fun. We met up with other girl guides from other Sch and eventually we became friends. We also had the chance to participate in the Youth Day & National Day matching

yah, i think UG will be good in terms of instilling discipline, fostering teamspirit, learning to face and overcome challenges, developing independence and sense of resposibility, etc.
Only thing worried about is it being time-consuming.
Will need good time-management.
