      Hi there,

Anyone know from incheon Airport to YongPyong Ski Resort and Incheon Airport to Alpensia Ski Resort, how long is the journey for both resort? Cos I'm comparing which one shorter time. Thanks
From Incheon airport to Yongpyong, think it is at least 3 hours by car. Not sure about Alpensia.

Think you might want to check out Alpensia's website.

Have been there in Dec 2010. Very nice there and we were very lucky as well because it snowed then. Hoping to return next year.

We stayed at the High-1 Hotel. Took a package tour as everything all arranged from rooms booking to dinner arrangement, extra peace of mind especially with young children. Some photos to share.... My kids really had fun and we were lucky as it was also snowing there!!

Ski boots and attire can be rented at resort.

Also at the ski resort , you can get gloves n children boots / adults boots.
Or u can get from winter time. Not bad, water proof.

Car118, how u want to get to yongpyeong? There is shuttle direct fr airport too.

Can anyone comment on Korea air? I had tried SQ n Asiana , so would like to
Find out how is Korea air, much cheaper than SQ or Asiana.

My 1st day also gone though I reached early morning. We didn't sleep much onboard so was really tired. Can't even walk & eat much, so we waited at the hotel lobby till check in time. Finally can have a short nap till dinner time. My gal told me no more night flight

We will b in Seoul first for 2days then will go ski for 3d2n. After that b back in Seoul again another 2days b4 heading back spore. Hb prefers in this way as dun wan to ve so many things to move around.
Last year we took sq late nite flight to Seoul. Reached abt 6plus, took shuttle to Seoul, waited for check in, by then 3 of us were too shacked out as my ds didn't ve a good sleep on flight. We napped in hotel from 4pm till 8pm. Tired tired. Sq flight is gd but mayb u can choose a different timing like the morning flight. By the time reach Seoul b jus nice to chk in. At least all can ve a good nite sleep b4 everything.
I heard Korean air very strict with luggage weight. For me This is a important issue I will consider hard as winter really lots of things to bring ESP with children, plus SHOPPING prices to bring back. Haha
