      Chief,

Not sure if this has ever been brought at the KS forum before, but is it possible to have some kind of poll/vote for the most creative nickname/avatar award, just for the fun of it??
Sure. Sounds like a good idea. Feel free to start the thread to ask for nominations and then we will put all the nominations up for voting. Top prize of 500KPs.

A bit late to oblige (schellen did ask me to explain mine), but here goes:

In 2007 we went to the Osaka Aquarium and I met my first real-life sunfish. I fell totally in love with the bugger. It was big, silly and just kept hanging up there on top of its tank sunning itself. Its shape was hilarious and fascinating at the same time.

So, as much as we try to avoid buying plush, I couldn't resist buying one souvenir sunfish. That's his photo as my avatar.

Back home, we were talking about naming it (the plush - we have a habit of naming some of our plush). schellen jokingly called it \"sashimi\", at which point our pet plush fish developed a personality. He purrs like a cat, but hates all cats except for Hello Kitty. When threatened by cats he growls and barks. He likes to eat jellyfish. ... so anyway, when I was looking for a reasonably neutral-sounding nickname for KSP, I just happened to think of him.

Final note - you can feed him sashimi, but don't treat him as one.

Another birthday coming up. Sigh ....

And more and more people calling me \"Uncle\", so might as well accept it.

Must learn to celebrate my Uncle-ness ! 😢

Being called an uncle is not too bad ... apart from the age factor, it can denote one who is experienced, wise or even being addressed respectfully what wan ... 😉 😉 😄

                        Hi All!

I wonder why did they choose this nickname for them.I asked this many days myself. But I didn’t ask anybody. So I want to start this thread. It will be more interesting when we know the reason.

When I join to the forum I had many concerns in my mind then I put "concern_parent".Then I had found many"concern"parents here. Then I decided to change my nick.Second time I thought of "Mummy of Two".Then I thought it would more common then I could see similar name. After I impressed by the nicks such as "champion","happymama"
then I chose confidently "smartmummy".After that I saw "smarty".
When I saw first time "WCW" and "cwc", i thought DH and DW.Then I realised both of them are mummies.

I look forward to hear your interesting stories!
