        Hi All,

For your information on Community Leader, you need to be at least an Exceutive Member to be considered Community Leader. Observer in RC is not counted and it will depends on your chairman if he/she want to approve your application to be a member.
Some observer volunteered for almost a year before their application as a member gets approved.

In order to get into phase 2B, you need to be active in the RC for minimum 2years.

Note, do not join RC for the sake of joining.
As a volunteer, it should be coming right from your heart, to give to the society.
Alot of time and commitment is required.
        Hope this will help!

Mummyfel, thanks a lot for your note.

I just re-read the MOE website. Noted that only community Leader can qualify to apply.

How can an EM be considered as a CL? what is the criteria? is it by length of service please?

I noted your inputs on how we should volunteer with the desire to serve the community. Rest assured that while I have a motive, I volunteer with a positive mindset on helping things to get better.

          Thanks.

            Hi Winnieng78,

When you become an Executive Member, you are considered a Grassroot Leader. During the phase 2B enrollment, you must be at least serving a minimum of 2years with your RC/NC already.

              Hi

I like to find out if my hubby is now asked to join the CCMC as observer, how long will he get converted? He is very active in his RC and is really passionate into serving the community and residents here so I do not dare to ask him to find out about the benefits because he might be judged. Appreciate if anyone can let me know what ways can his status as CCMC member help with our son admission in 2 years time.

              Thank you.

If he is very active in his RC, he can speak to his CM about his status recognition for his contributions. He will be converted to EM Status. No need to join CCMC to be Observer again mah.

                  hi hi

He is already EM, but was asked to be CCMC observer… I know EM can get to select schools within the GRC then if he become CCMC member then is it still the same? choose with GRC?

Should be the same status bah. Unless he is moving to another GRC.

Maintain EM in the RC first and at the same time still go for CCMC meeting as an observer. Once membership in CCMC is confirmed resigned from the RC. Frankly speaking, CCMC or CCC has better environment compare to RC. At least meeting held in the CC. Members have a certain standard.
