Cedar Girls Secondary School

For the last 3 years, i did not need to buy any top schools exams papers. Neither many assessment books needed as dd has more than enough homework. Hardly touched the assessment books i bought. You are right that the school covers different topics. I feel that the school gives adequate work for the girls. How do CGSS girls do their revision? Do they buy top schools exams papers or assessment books?
The reason why I am asking because the school covers all levels for Maths/Geography/Science. My Sec 2 girl wants me to get her the top schools exams papers but I am thinking if it is sufficient since some Sec 3 & 4 may not be tested in other schools. Or some topics she may not be able to do since CGSS may not have touched in Sec 2.
For Science, try the GLM series of books. -
Hi, how did Crescent do for O levels? Trying to find out my chances of appealing.

You mean Cedar?
2 girls with 10A1s. What appealing are you referring to? JC? MOE? -
zeemimi:
Oh yeah oops Cedar. Asked a friend from Cedar, can you confirm that around 38 girls got 6 for L1R5, and about 30 got 7 for L1R5?Skyed:

The 6 and 7 are without bonus pts. It's hard to guage. Many get the 4 bonus points too .... You'll also have to find out the 8 and 9 to get a more accurate picture. -

Haha yeah I'm trying to ask the schools that are considered \"better\"... Most schools don't announce how many people with 8 or 9 raw so I doubt I can find info on that.. :3

Can somebody with experience shed more light on RSP in Cedar? My daughter is already in the MSP and is considering the RSP. Personally, I think it is good to know more about the region. Is this a very time consuming program? I mean, would it interrupt the already on-going class schedule if students have to go on trips to countries in the region?
TIA
