Does the best P6 class in schools always get HODs to teach that class in order to push the school's results? :scratchhead:

Most schools HODs teach the top 1 or 2 classes. They usually take 1 or 2 P6 classes only.

yes is true HODs takes either one of the top 3 classes. In my ds case he has 4 hod for 4 subjects really good luck to him they started home work and studying already.[/quote]Is your child from north vista pri?

ds is gona make my blood boil till the maximum he forgot to go for the maths intervention course for school is after school hours. I did not know about it at all till the school circular came today, but the circular is stated 7-10 jan for the programme, but i receive the form only today.

Who to blame the school or ds as the teacher did say it was announced everyday through the school system reminding them to stay back HAIZ.

Same. DS having 3 supp classes a week and then one of the other days for CCA. So packed! Dont even know how I can fit in the tuition classes for him, He seriously need to go for the tuition classes because can see he benefited and improved alot. But I am so afraid that he would be too tired when he is home and I seriously hope not to put tuition on sunday as its a family day, hope to put that day as his own self revision day at home. What to do? ;(

Son attended suppl lessons in P5 twice weekly…after each lesson can’t even tell me what he did other than worksheets. Last year, Sundays were for completing homework and revising. My son greatly improved for chinese under care of his tutor and school teacher.

The hot weather and stress leading towards PSLE will take a toll on kids if they can’t cope. Take care of them and yourselves too.

Supplementary classes is to finish syllabus early so can start doing exam papers to learn how to answer in an exam smart way. No choice but have to attend supp classes as otherwise will fall behind. If doing enrichment then still continue as enrichment will reinforce school, so less time needed for self-studying and revision by child. However must give free time every day and on weekends. Child must de-stress as do not want child to peak too early
