There are normally 3 intakes:
1. DSA - for talents in special areas
2. S1 posting - based solely on PSLE T-score
3. Supplementary intake - for talent and/or academic, mostly discretion of principals.

Hope this helps. 2 of my kids went through (1), one went through (2), and perhaps another one through (3), we'll know soon.

So you have 4 children?

Not all under DSA go under \"talents in special areas\". NJC is one example in their DSA selection process. ACS(I) also - just take a test and no other rounds.

so did your boy get into ACS(I) Express ? If the kid is in ACS(I) Express, any chance of moving over to IB during the 4 years ? Any affiliation points when choosing ACJC ?

Any affiliation points when choosing ACJC ?[/quote]I spoke with ACSI before and they said that about 30% of the express stream will be tranaferred to IB at year 3, based on their year 2 result.
