[quote=\"Tinaneo\"]Hey everyone just take note of this company called domestic one I have bad experience with them last year when I engage them in May. Agency fee collect so fast but when called them up they take days to respond. Cleaner always late and didnt turn up for job. Have 3 cleaners changed with them within 2 months and the last one even steal my clothings. Then my friend recommend me another cleaning company called dust matters. Start using them since July till now. Their sales person is very service orientated and their cleaners are very professional. The cleaner Mdm Teo attached to me is very good and details. To what I know they have no limitation of replacement. I only pay a nett fee no agency or any other charges.
Sounds good. Contacts? Full time maid not coming back and contemplating to hire so would like to hire part time ones first.
I have dealt with this DustMatters, Ryan, and he is a rude and inefficient guy! Nothing personal but this is my experience.
Within ONE month, this company has changed my helper 3 times. Imagine having to brief each helper all over again every week.
Before the FIRST helper even arrived, already there are changes...
1) Gave the name of the maid W (Spore PR) via sms, saying she will arrive at 2pm then...
2) on the day itself changed to another maid ZL, but she will only be at my place only 1 time, next week will change to yet another maid, S.
3) last minute changes aplenty, but the person-in-charge, a lady (not ryan) is nice and apologetic so I just say ok but please limit the changes.
4) But the next week, S did not turn up. Instead another maid SP turned up at my doorstep.
5) I was upset but again was assured this will be the last change.
6) Later 2 weeks later, other changes inevitably happen & even the timings often change, 2pm become 12pm the next week then change days etc... I was patient enuf since the lady serving me always sms or calls in advance of any changes... but i do intend to disengage DustMatters already
7) in all, i have 3 DIFFERENT helpers come to my place in a space of 5 weeks. And of the 5 weeks, there have been 2 changes of timing. Not counting those changes that happen before the maid turns up.
finally the lady in charge seems to quit DustMatters out of frustration (my guess only) but she was very diplomatic and told me Ryan will take over.
9) NOW here comes the best part, from first engaging them till after the lady quit, I have never been invoiced. And I asked abt it but was told they will invoice soon. So I left it.
10) Ryan has never called nor sms me so I see no reason to continue giving DustMatters any chances so I stop their services for a week to try another helper and terminate their services the following week.
11) His replies are short & disinterested but it is ok for me.
12) I terminated their services via sms on 14 Sep, 9:45pm and Ryan only invoice my wife 9th Oct, 4:32pm via email.
13) His invoice are all backdated to Aug 29th & Sept 30th.
14) We were at fault for missing out that email but on 30 Nov, he sent a reminder. We were preparing to do a transfer when he sent yet another email to say his invoice was WRONG and we should pay a higher amount.
15) It is ok if he collects his money late but to get invoice amount wrong after 2.5mths since service was terminated is ridiculous.
16) my wife simply ask him if he is sure about the invoice amount and then he replied very rudely to my wife.
17) that is when I took over the emails and started chastising him via email for bring rude to my wife.
18) Ryan is obviously an inefficient person trying to run a company. On top of that inefficiency, he is rude. And he even threaten to sue me for complaining about his company!
This is indeed my experience with DustMatters.
I just want share my experience so no one else will get lousy service. -

Wow. I didnt manage to call them actually. I was so busy that I hired a full time maid instead, and was lucky my full time maid is quite good this time round. Thanks for the info. -
JCzzzz, saw the comments and the bad experiences that you encountered from Dust Matters reallmake me skeptical on engaging PT maid from those un established company… Wondering is there a good PT maids that you guys can share with me? Been looking for those who are efficient with good service for my house spring cleaning…

Hi, I’m currently living in CCK. Is there any pt helper to introduce? I’m looking at just 4-5 hours per fortnightly if possible.
Please do PM me.
Thanks. -
Hi! I’m looking for a PT maid to work once or twice a week at Bishan. $10/hr. Please PM me.

what i experienced was totally a different story of yours JC. lucky for me. as mentioned i’d tried domestic one and had a super bad encounter with them. Just then my friend recommended dust matters to me. this is when i call them up and liaise with the person ryan you have mentioned too. he is not like what you have mentioned. not that i am siding them or together with them but just to share corresponding with them. He is very polite and explain all service and charges with all cleaning details nicely to me. After i have confirmed the service a cleaner mdm teo was assigned to me and she is good. till now every end of the month I promply received the invoice from them. just feel weird hearing a different story here compare to what I have experience
-
Tinaneo, wondering are u related to dust matters as see from all the comments, u seem to be the only one whose keep on trying hard to promote for them. Actually just one incident is already enough to let others lose confident in their services. Currently i was been intro and start using "just relax" and their service are really good and reliable compare to those un-establish service provider which caused so many issues due to their inexperience and over promises. And "just relax" service maid will not arrive late and wont have any last min changes that may cause inconviniences to us. Maybe you should try them too…
Just my two cents thoughts
Ps, I not related to Just Relax Cleaning Services -
Hi aloysius, I’m not in any way related to them jut their customer. Just share my view here as the experience and service I get is not what jc have stated. Thanks for your recommendation. I was looking for just relax also previously but since my friend recommend dust matters so I tried it out. Now the cleaner assigned to me is good so not thinking of changing

Anyone knows about this guy Raynoid, who posted something abt a part time maid named Ah Khim in this thread some time ago. He may have privately pm-ed some of you as well.
The strange thing is that when I called the mobile number he gave, there was no answer at all, regardless of how many times I called. But shortly after, I started getting sms-es abt part time maid service, apparently thru a maid agency.
I suspect this Raynoid guy may be using a non-existing ‘person’'s number to lure us to call, then collect our numbers and send spam sms-es for part time maid services. Can Mods pls take note? Anyone has similar experiences pls share…
