I was at the s1 Meeting parents yesterday. Madam Heng’s frankness in explaining how the school handle the students who couldn’t copy ip prom really impressive.

Isn't she always? The first time I met her, she impressed me as a principal who does not bow to parents' every request. It's been six years and I still remember how she wittily illustrated the nil need of multiple kisses on our kids (on left and right cheeks and forehead) before they carry their bag and get off the car - and jam up the traffic.


I've never seen a principal like her before. I'm so glad that my kid comes under her care again.

Can somebody share briefly what was presented at the parents' meeting yesterday? I forgot about it! Some parent that I am :oops:

By the time I remembered, it was past 6 and the traffic along PIE Tuas and Bt Timah was horrendous.

Yup, she's the reason we chose NYGH over the other school. I feel confident that our daughters are in good hands.

It was mainly about curriculum overview (which is not much), and CCA questions. The school will upload the slides on the Sch website. Oh, and Mdm Heng’s asking parents to email her instead of calling if we are in a bad mood. Lots of q and a too!

May I know is it a must to fill in all 5 options for CCA? Wat if dd is shortlisted for less than 5 CCAs, do we leave the rest of the options blank? I assume that we can only list the CCA as one of the choices if dd is shortlisted right :roll: ?

You could also put down those that placed your dd on wait list. I will fill up all the options and place ug last, as my dd is not interested in ug.

I thought once you are shortlisted, it is almost like a CO. So though we fill in the other choices, you will surely get into the shortlisted CCA if placed as first choice. Is that so? A bit confused :? Pls advise.

Yeh, you should get it now, if not soon, the usename starts P7114....password is the same, you have to change it once log in.
