Not only RGS, others also accept 2-3 points lower.
This make a lot of sense :-). When RGS accepts students of 2 points lower, these students will withdraw from their original posted schools. These schools will then accept students with 2 point below. It is a chain effect.

Tonight Sec 1 Orientation Tea and Concert was great! Feel satisfied as parent.

I like the Principal. She seems like a student-centered and caring P. Met her face to face twice and she was always smiling and asking if I got the help I needed. The other staff were also very helpful.

We also like the new principal, she is friendly and approachable.
Furthermore, we would like to thank all the PSLs and prefects for making the orientation concert a successful one. All the gals were in high spirit last night when they were doing their Raffles cheers. We can also feel their strong-bonded sisterhood that they have displayed among themselves in such a short period of time. My DD really had a fruitful and wonderful time for the past few days.

Good job seniors, keep it up and going!

According to my daughter, the new P is really caring and able to connect well with the students…many good school years ahead!

Our dd are so lucky. P is very very important to a school.

Dd came back from the orientation feeling so 'high'. She talked non stop about all the happenings until we reached home. She told me the PSLs and prefects worked so hard, some had sore throats from leading the cheers, some so busy, they didn't drink water and how they always ensure that the new girls are well taken care off. And yes, dd loves the ghost stories from the seniors 😂 . She is very happy to have such seniors to look up too.

Although my yr 1 dd missed all the fun the past few days, I would like to thank all the seniors, teachers and Principal for working so hard to make the Orientation a success.

Dd was battling a high fever hovering around 40deg the past few days but is better now and looking forward to school on Monday. 🕺

So sorry to hear this. Sounds like a nasty flu virus she got there. Glad she is better. Take care!

                        Thanks!
