      Go to school:
      Hi all,

quite nervous on this year's P1 registration. Living in Jurong, fall in 1-2 km from Rulang PS, do you think any chance for P2B within 1-2 Km? Or I should forget about it as I see last year even within 1km need ballot? Headache......
Seems like you have already answered your own question. 😉

Anyway, no harm monitoring the situation. Have a backup plan.

        Go to school:
Regarding registraion procedure, anyone can enlighten me that:

when you registered a school in 2B and you have a place, can you withdraw from the school and register with another school in phase 2C?

Are Jurong Primary and Princess Elisabeth primary school considered as good school? which one is better?
The answer will be different depending on your definition of a \"good\" school. You can monitor and see whether the two schools have open house for parents to attend before the registration period. Alternatively, go to the following links to the parents' networking group for the two school and check with existing parents on the school's performance.

Just wondering, are we able to know how many had registered for the school during the point of registration before we submit our application? If case number already exceed the number of vacanies, we can go straight to our 2nd choice of school to apply. Thank you

It all depends on the schools. Only minority of the schools will advise the parent not to waste your chance if the number of applications have already exceeded. Most school will not and you need to contact the school to find out the number of applications during the registration period.

In addition to what hellokittysingapore mentioned, you need to take into consideration the fact that there will be many withdrawals and registrations on the afternoon of the third day of registration (for P2C). Hence, you need to constantly obtain updates from the school of your choice on the statistics before you decide what to do.

Anyone know the roughly schedule for P1 registration this year?

Will it be the same as in July?

I’ve check with MOE and they say the schedule is not out yet.

Usually, it's around the same time, +/- 2 weeks. It may be slightly later this year compared to last year, as Term 3 starts only on 01 July.
