I do know that Library has their own after-CCA sports.Dear Mumies,
How come Hwa Chong only have 1 PE lesson per week. For those art CCA the physical exercise is not enough. Do they have one afternoon sports for those art CCA like RV?
The 1 hour is not enough, hence it is advised to go and use the school facs for afternoon sports before CCA or after school since most Clubs and Societies CCA do not have a lot of training. -
Yes usually HC has one more day hol for CNy than other schools.

But this year handbook don't indicate that. Does it mean no extra day? -

Probably if we could wait for another 3 more days till this coming Friday, we could clarify this during the parents' symposium. -

Yes, 1 PE lesson per week is too little. So, I encouraged my ds to choose sports CCA. He is interested in badminton and table tennis only. However, he stands no chance as the requirements are extremely high (according to the school portal), exclusively for school teams only.Dear Mumies,

badminton - must show high potential level to represent skills, no social club
table tennis - mostly DSA students
So, he brings table tennis bat to school to play during recess and after school. He said this is the most popular sport among his friends.
For CCAs, most likely he has to choose club and societies as he is not interested in UG.
Does he allow to join two clubs? If both clubs are having the same timings e.g. Tuesday and Friday, can he attend club 1 on Tuesday and club 2 on Friday? Fat hope??? -

School official CCA days are on Wed and Fri. Most CCAs require at least 2-3 days per week. If the Club official CCA days are on Tues and Fri, you must attend both days. CCA attendance is taken very seriously. Hence it is very rare for a student to join more than 1 CCA.

Do the sec one students have lockers? Or do the sports CCAs have rooms to let the students keep their sports equipment in school?

They used to have a list of optional CCA (such as piano assembly) allow students to sign up as second CCA but the main CCA attendance is important and school really track every term seriously. Can also try sign up consortium councilor when the time comes along.
