Didn't do it for P1 but this yr dd1 requested it. Maybe it's a girl thing. HeeheeUmmm, I guess this all up to individual.
Since Ds1 started primary school, I don't recollect him bringing home any goody bags, although there may be stuff like paperclips or pencils other pp gave him.
On me, I don't intend to celebrate (actually I didn't even consider) my kids' birthday in school - no cakes, no bags. It's just me. Anyway, my kids don't mind also - at least this what they tell me. -
Likely. Both my boys bochup bohiew about these kind of things. Sure they enjoy a party, but I think they are more concerned about what they can request from us.
On the 2nd sentence, I think if I had to go ask them about their classmate's birthday; I will likely still have no clue come year end. Yet another boy thing. -

a plate freid noodles with fish cake, veggie cost 1.50 eh? or soup noodles with add-on? she has no monies back since monday with buddy to the canteen… wonder shld me give 2bucks to her? -

She will try to save some money for her piggy bank though

Not surprised. When they used to have a malay stall, roti prata with egg was $1 (around there).

I try to give my kids allowance in various denominations of coins $1, 50cents, 20cents and 10cents. Usually will make sure there is at least $2 inside.
Plus, I will add a $2 note for emergencies.
But different la. so far my kids don't spend (because they fussy eaters and they rather I tapao buns), and somehow they haven't got the idea that leftover money can put in their piggy bank. Will inculcate that later. -
Any feedback on the "Express Right Brain Chinese Literacy Course" conducted for P2? Any parents who have kids who attended and benefited?

so far my girl has been having wantan noodles with top up wantan ($1), economic rice (60ct) thereabout…so giving the 1.50 shd be fine.
I received a letter for English and Chinese Enrichment programmes conducted on Sundays in HWS (it seems to be conducted by an external party as we need to pay for it - sorry I did not have the letter with me so I cannot recall the vendor name). Have any parents of older children attended this before? -
The extra classes are all on Sunday, and yes, these seem to be conducted by external vendors. So far the timing clash so I didn’t explore further.
