I have been vacuuming almost once a day for the past one week. Mop every other day. There is a construction site nearby, I think it must have some impact to the dust in my home.

Hopefully, with the increased frequency of mopping and vacuuming can reduce the dust at home.

We keep talking about cleaning the homes. So ladies, when and what are you going to do something for yourself (yes, just yourself)? Bought cny clothes/shoes? Book your facial/pedi/ medi? Hair cut/perm/ colour/ rebond?

I have bought 3 dresses and a jacket. Will probably skip new shoes unless I see something I like. Book pedi and mani already. My first time doing manicure… I wonder how long it would last. I opt for gelish too. First time doing gelish also. Hair cut already.

              Hi all,

Officially join this thread, my maid went back last sat. I think I still missed my maid, every morning I have to wake up 1hr early to get prepare and every night is housework to 10.30pm, sometime 11pm. I find it is so tiring, I don't cook for dinner, if I cook, I really think I can only sleep at 3am. 😢
How do you ladies manage your time?

maybe those not working, can come together to create some form of side income, or extra income?

Cut housework to minimum, lower standards, outsource, and distribute among the rest of the family. All the more if you are also working outside the home.

yes, have a lower standard, and outsource to gadgets and technology if possible

For me, I still cook dinner, coz i prefer my kids to have homecook food… so usually like garlic, onions I will prep the night before or even on weekend n keep in containers to last a week.

Dinner is usually quite simple… 2 dishes n a soup… soup i prep in the morning… then put it into thermal pot… i prep all these while ds (P2) get himself ready… so while the soup is cooking… i will wake dds up one by one… shower one den wake the other…

I get home, make sure dd2 shower first… coz i haf to help her so while she take off her own clothes, i wash the rice n put in rice cooker to cook… then when dd1 n ds shower, it will be the time i start prepping the veg n meat n rice…

simple dishes like omelette with spring onion can easily be a dish… pasta, winter melon soup etc… if not u can go buy those roasted chix, pork etc from cold storage or giant n reheat it up at home as a dish itself…
