      PhoBIA:
If you are using care givers address, you'll be categorised as beyond 2km.

That's not true. Using caregiver's address will put the child under 1-2 km category.

My understanding is my application will be considered as someone living within 1-2km, whereas if my in-laws stay within 1km, the application will be considered as within 1-2km. If it's considered as beyond 2km, then there's no real benefit of using my in-laws' address then? I live in Punggol, which is also beyond 2km.

Your child will be under the 1-2 km category if you are going by the caregiver route.

However, you shouldn't look at this as a \"benefit\". You should only go by this route if your child is truly looked after by your in-laws rather than a way to give your child an edge at entering this school. If you plan to send your child to a day care centre (as mentioned by you in the other threads you posted), you should not be using your in-laws' address.

                Hi Joanne,

                Thanks for your info!

We are still quite undecided about RVP (2A) or SJI (2B).

Think we should forget about phase 2C (ACJ)

                  Hi

For the past ballot result, we are not able to know if there was ballot for Citizen right?

The ballot could be for citizen only or citizen got placing and only PR need balloting right?

How can we know if citizen required balloting for that school?

If you can let us know which school you are looking at, fellow forummers will be able to advise whether balloting was conducted for SCs or PRs last year.

the above 4 schools conducted balloting for SC children at phase 2C (residing within 1km from the sch) based on last year MOE information released.
