They're so fast? This time ahead of the PAP? Wonder what they have up their sleeves...PAP supporters quite fixed in their mindsets..will be a tough one to rock.
Yup.... some are really hard to move.... Have a friend who posted on FB all the negativities on wp comments... Well... no one commented on his post and the \"like\" is very little or none.. :roll:
Anyway just think of Aljunied. GY and LHH were fairly big names and they had a new face who was also of ministerial calibre. But miracles do happen. My friend's mil who was a by default PAP all these years had a change of mind during last GE and even encourage her children to vote for WP.
Those opposition parties were previously :faint: as they were filled with people that you can never bring yourself to vote.... But the situation today is different. You have professionals and qualified people who are in the opposition party. They are also attracting new talent. -

Ideas? Behind SDP. Moral courage? Pirate says LTK is just another Wiley politician.
What is is about the WP other than they have capitalized on discontent with the PAP to swing a GRC?
Why should PAP voters move when they firmly feel its the WP voters who have lost their marbles?

That will depend on whether WP can strike the right chord with PE residents. Does LLL have enough support to run the town council here? LTK cited that LLL's reason for not being around here since GE was due to her helping out in the Aljunied Town Council. This brings out the question of whether they are able to manage beyond Aljunied-Hougang. Also, many are not aware of the AIM case, thinking that the transitions will cause inconvenience to the residents.

The ironic thing is that I have asked so so many people during the GE 2011 on whether they have seen LLL walk the ground and NO ONE has seen or even met her. Suddenly we have to vote for her just because she is WP. No kids, so young, how to empathize with the votes.

The couples can make all the babies they want. 4 years later fight for place in top kindergarden, 6 years later must buy a property close to a good primary school, 8 years later must fight to enter GEP scheme, 12 years later tikam into a gooder than good sec school, 16 years later choose to go ITE or poly or JC ..... and still much worse off than talents coming here because population increase to 7 million. :scared:Harlequin:
