Be very very clear to both the WP and PAP that you will not abide populist policies. Stand your ground on debates when people throw all manners of 'spend spend spend' policies. Take part in the national conversation and nuance your message to the powers that be.
Aiya, exactly what I am thinking. How? :?wonderm:

Ah, then we need to finesse the message, lest it gets misread. Dun forget, if you throw your hat in with the opposition, it may just come across as a plea for mo money......
Our leaders need breathing space, if they lose your support, they can only surmise that they need to be even more populist. At the end of the day, you need to decide which is the lesser evil.
I have certainly made up my mind. The message was sent last GE, I'd hate for the MIW to over correct.
Yes, make sense. Unless by next GE time, the incumbent has gone down so far this slippery slope that they become the greater evil. -

But I am not happy with something other that populism pandering, which I think is only a symptom of a bigger problem they have. It dun benefit you and therefore is a worthless policy? How about you put aside self interest for a minute and see it in the total context of procreation policy?
If a cancer treatment is administered in the early stages then it has value. If the same treatment is administered to terminally stages then it is worthless. Just don't say I have administered the treatment already leh, just that there is no effect. So that is why must bring in healthy replacements from elsewhere.
Baby bonus don't benefit us. Factory already closed lah. Moreover, it is not a long term solution. Bringing up kids is very costly nowadays. How about higher education subsidiary & higher tax rebate for dependents such as children & non working spouse?mummy so kiasu:
There are many good news recently e.g. Number of housing is increased, number of MRT lines increased, baby bonus increased, etc. Is it just coincidental or perfect timing? PE by-election so important meh? Just one seat...
The good news cannot wait until National Day meh? Otherwise, there is nothing to hope for for National Day leh....

You Punggol East or not? If not then raise hell with the MIW about what you are unhappy about, for 2016?

i have stated many times before, my choices and my qualms, has always been to hope for more help and more direct assistance to the truly needy.
dun give Singapore Shares, Election Shares, National Day shares, GST shares, Ahgong birthday shares, Growth shares, to all Singaporeans. Put the total package to good use, get the elected MPs to identify the needy people in their constituencies and HELP them asap.
We read about the rich driving their BMWs to Q for free vouchers, free textbooks, zzzzzzzzzz.
i dun wan and dun ask for anything, I wan garmen to help the needy elderly who are neglected and families that are being left way way behind.
It's time to cho kang, MPs. -
