If anyone thinking of Kidz Plahouz at Punggol please DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR CHILD'S FUTURE. It's a very bad school and I had a very bad experience as my son was tortured by the school teacher. I am already doing what is required as per the law and am waiting for a final decision. Please dont select this school there are better schools out there.
:scared: Well, I need to put myself in the alert mode now since I am going to enrol my boy to childcare soon. Along I thought this is a good one I have shortlisted these few
1. Eduventure Childcare
2. EShkol valley
3. Faith Educare Blk 107D
4. Faith Educare Blk 275A near buangkok mrt station
Any comments. Thanks in advance -
I just signed my son up for Eshkol valley last week. It was quite a last min decision as I just got pregnant & worried my mum cant cope with 2 kids later on. Most childcares are full when i called to enquire.
Didnt see much reviews on this childcare since it's still v new.. Anyone care to share? Find it abit expensive at $680 per mth after subsidy. I have the intention to put my 2nd child in childcare once he hit 18 months. Any cheap one to recommend?elmo493:

Jazzy,
care to share how was the matter discovered and proven? My DS also came back one day from CC and got a stapler mark. -
my sister’s child is in bright juniors at punggol twenty-fourth ave. they have good reviews on it as their teacher is caring and provides useful feedback to parents. i visited the centre once, really impressed with how the teacher answered my questions on children. can take a look there… their fees are 620 after subsidy.
my children are with dayspring kindergarten at seventeen ave as my wife dont prefer CC. academic based…not sure if there are still vacancies though…the teachers are very experienced and we enjoy the graduation concert every year…
there are many other CC centres around twentyfourth ave… -
I second the advice not to go to Kidz playhouz. The teachers and principal came acrossed as snobs. Their fees are affordable which probably explains the popularity of the school…it was later discovered (per straits time) how they manage to charge that kind of fee then…

:thankyou: -
Hi
I intend to enrol my kid in eduadventure childcare at punggol 195c this year, any comments on the current environment? Also, how is their curiculum for kindergarten, does it prepare the kid well for p1 or do we have to fork out extra for academic enrichment? Thanks in advance! -
Oh, I live in punggol but send my kid to a church kindy in hougang. Quite impressed by the lessons and relatively low fees. Punggol childcares all have looong waitlists! But haiz… Might need to change school when I deliver my second child coz no school bus. Any punggol/sengkang/hougang childcare or kindergarten with smaller class size to recommend? My child is so active…
a bit off topic, but, does anyone have a tutor for preschool to recommend? Must be able to handle my cheeky boy. Pls pm me -

Hi all
Newbie father here… Can anyone give me feedback for Faith Educare in 201A @ Sengkang? I intend to put my son the for toddler care when he reaches 18 months? Thanks in advance -
Hi, I’m a newbie here.
I’m shifting to hougang and looking for a good kindergarten for my 2009 girl. Seems like most good schools promote students from N2 to K1, leaving no space for public? What can I do? -
Hi! There’s a new Childcare in Punggol, Ci Ai, opened by the Buddhist temple nearby. Is anyone placing their children there? I’ve enrolled my son to the CC. He’ll be going when he’s 18 months, actually most likely 19 months as I want to wait until after his MMR vaccine to let him join the school.

Hi lyra, do you mean fo guang shan? So is the childcare located inside the temple or near the temple? -
My gal is is Bright Juniors at Punggol Twenty-Fourth Ave.
Very pleased with my decision
Teachers are friendly and helpful, Principal very involved and engaged with daily activities and manages the kids very well. She plays a very important part in helping my child in settling down. I was pretty nervous during the initial period when I see my gal cries when I dropped her off, but what the Principal did was very reassuring! She would do up collages of what my gal did in school - gal @ nap/ @ meal/ @ play and etc and send to me to update me on how my gal is doing. Seeing my gal getting on well in shcool under her care (as well as her teachers) put my heart at ease. The principal seems to know every child in detail lor. I’ve seen her chatting with some other parents at random times, and she can relate every little things that each child did in school, give advices and feedback to the parents. I supposed she spent lots of time in every class in order to know the WHOLE school haha. I’m impressed coz I feel that for a teacher to know her class children = should be and expected of, but for a Principal to know every child in the WHOLE school, it takes lots effort lor. Especially after gethering feedbacks from many friends whose kids are in other childcare, seems like what my gal’s Principal did is not a ‘norm’ … some Principal I heard just sit in office lor. Overall, the whole environment and feeling there is very ‘homely’Big garden / outdoor space, in the midst of nature… I like

Hi
Anyone can recommend childcare centres in punggol, sengkang and hougang with low student to teacher ratios? The one my child is in has 1 teacher to 13 kids in playgroup with another teacher helper that is shared with the nursery class of 16kids, sometimes when there is any sick or on leave teacher, it would be 1 to 16 for at least 2 hours of the day! wonder if this is appropriate but i always get the feeling that there is not enough help and attention for the kids…Thinking of getting one whereby my kid can get more care and attention…thanks in advance! -
Hougang Green + Learning Kidz
Anyone view or have child in the above centre?
