My elder child in P5 so far also no complains from her. Since P1 till now she didn't complain anything abt the canteen and stall owners. But this does not imply that the problem is not there. When I told my P5 abt her younger sibling's encounter last night, they she agreed and told me that the drink stall auntie is very nasty and always scold pple. My P5 even told me that the drinks stall auntie is very unhygienic. She & her classmates witness the auntie dropped the ice in the coin container and picked up the the ice and reuse. :yikes:

Think we must propose to change the stall owners if needed because showing respect is something important and what the school teach the children.

School got to do something about it.

Probably the drink stall is notorious for attitude...

Maybe feedback to the level managers and see if they can counsel the stall holder. Hygiene is important as if any food poisoning happens, they will be in big trouble as well.

I have emailed to sch 3 days ago and still awaiting for their response. I tried to call the P1 level mgr this morning till 12pm, still unable to get her.

Yes I think the stall owners need to be counselled... Perhaps they are also stressed when they see so long Q and so many children waiting behind for their turn.

Oh dear, that sounds really bad. My son always buys from stall No. 3 but he didn’t complain anything about the stall owner. But I am surprised to hear that they scold the kids, especially p1s!. I had thought there would be a buddy system but it didn’t appear to be so.

Thought they should inform the teacher to return call?
Or the teachers are trying to keep to 3 working days (Service excellence in Public service) - this point was mentioned by the Level 1 Mgr :nailbite:

No, there is no buddy system. Now I let my child bring pkt milo, soya bean milk or yogurt drink to sch. Else each recess time becomes a stress time for everyone.

Until now, my girl only buys chicken rice, noodles and drinks. Dun know which noodle stall, except she described it as something like maggi noodles with some soup, fish ball and fish cake.

So far, I email the P and FT straightaway, but only for applauding the FT for doing a good job. The P replied within 1h.

                        Tough job…

                        Must be overwhelming…

My girl has been telling me she is in a roster to clean canteen tables… What is the selection criteria?? Hahahahaha she does not even clean tables at home. It will be good training.

Just got the letter regarding the CNY celebration… How will the sch buses cope ferrying am and pm sessions?
