limlim:
And guess how the wife and neighbours are voting also..........Wife: \"Wah liao, how come never arrest my xiao husband after so many calls??\" ....Neighbours: \"Why so disruptive, my children need to go school in the morning leh, MP cannot do anything meh?\"3Boys:
Of course he swing his vote to WP after the MP failed to stop the police to ignore his wife's calls.
See, how very the pai dang!
Not the hubby fault, not the wife fault, but zhenghu's fault, because the couple too stress at work, cannot have children, cannot afford COE....Harlequin:
These type of pple, failed to realise that NO party can solve their problems.. they'll just vote for any Opp party..There are people complain that the parking lots drawn are too narrow (by about 8 inches) on their side of the block, which is nearer to their void deck compares to the opposite side's carpark lots. This is due to landscaping but it would automatically become pap's fault.

There's nothing you can do and there is no point talking abt these pple in these forum.
The statement is not very precise. These people are found everywhere and is a very small minority. They can also be found in the opposition GRC and SMCs and there they'll likely to vote for the ruling party. In any case, this group of people is just too small to have an influence in the outcome of any elections.
Therefore, picking on how this minority group vote is a muted argument. -
3Boys:
Why not? Why abet his behaviours.
bcoz I'm just a Nobody.....
Cannot be bothered with these type of pple.limlim:

Look at limlim's example. Anyone got the courage to go up to that chap and tell him, your approach is totally regressive? -
3Boys:
A-ha! So you support GRCs?
Now that you point it out.. hmm.. actually GRC quite good ar..
GRCs..? :evil:limlim:
I'm trying to highlight the conundrum on the so-called 'electability' of candidates. If everyone is only interested in an MP that can serve his constituency, then where do we get our ministers from, if their forte is perhaps not ground work?
but muz be strategic lah.. not everywhere also GRCs.. we don't need so many ministers rite.... -
limlim:
tongue in cheek comment.... :boogie:
Sigh.....limlim, how do I say this without whacking you....that is a most clueless statement.3Boys:
Nowadays, many plane can fly on auto-pilot.
Once got the pilot license.. quite relax and easy money unless there is emergency then they go into action.. As for stewardess.. they tend to be more hardworking.....
Which is more important to the well being of passengers?
I never say we can take the pilots for granted mah.. just say that it is probably not that \"tiring\" compared to stewardess..
How many passenger planes fly auto ?
3B , let me help you , you can use this smiley :torchme:
Limlim, the construction workers working right opposite where I sit, work very very hard, I can tell, you a fraction of my pay. And my helper is hardworking than me. But both have far less responsibility ( jobwise).
It is a minor irritation if the airhostess spills some coffee or serves me the wrong drink. But I would be far far more affected if my pilot messes. -
limlim:
That can be said of 95% of us.
bcoz I'm just a Nobody..... :evil:3Boys:
Why not? Why abet his behaviours.
But do we not make up the bulk of the electorate? -

Anyway, if it cuts one way, it will also like you say, cut the other way. I look forward to the day when an Opp member who is qualified be given a Ministerial role too. -
limlim:
Hi there, am keen to join because I couldn't agree more with what 3boys had said above. Have heard and seen too many. So much so that I am not sure we could say their numbers are small.
For these, I agree with you that these are unreasonable.. and these pple tends to be against any party in power or something to that effect.3Boys:
But I have met many others that limlim speaks about. Illegal parking kena fine, zhenghu's fault; hawker stall unhygienic kena serve notice, I vote WP; temple next door too noisy, MP never do his work; temple hours curtailed, congregation cast protest vote; too many foreigners, protest; project slows down because not enough FW, protest; COE too high, protest; traffic jam, protest; hospital A&E waiting time too long, get angry; turned away fom A&E becoz non-emergency.......
But I believe these are small numbers unlikely to affect the results much. Most are critical of the general policies, not the personal things.
general policies means immigration, indiscriminate imports of workers, public transports, privatization etc..
That, is deemed to be not in the best interest of the pple.
Yes I agree most may not swing their vote owing to these personal things but you'll never know....for some cases, this is their everyday life.

You expect the pilot to steer the plane all the way? I really doubt so....
I got say cannot take pilot for granted wor....
And of coz every plane needs pilots.. -
