All About T-Score

Skyed:
When I got 254 for my psle I was shouted at and grounded for a month =.= actually I was quite okay with my score then after that became very sad...
:yikes: your parents' expectation was very high :yikes: but if i remember correctly, you only studied one day before PSLE, so actually you are capable of getting higher score... -

Maybe you have been very bright hence the expectation?
The score is a relative thing. For a child who has always been doing A* and topping level in school, parents probably thought 260+ & above is a good score.
For a child who struggles to pass, making to N (A) is considered as a good score.
So there is no straightforward answer. -
mummy so kiasu:
But now it seems even 220+ also has very limited choices in terms of schools. My ex-sec sch now requires >245 to get in :shock:SAHM_TAN:
I used to think and still think can go express stream very good liao.
188+ can already go express, but got limited choice. Higher score lead to more choices. 220+ will give the child more & better choices.
230+ will be considered above average.
Thus I am really worried for my DS :nailbite: -

Yeah that's why my mom kept scolding me that if I had started earlier would not be like that etc etc... Same for O levels also =.=Skyed:

But it's your own life eventually so if you are happy with your score & have no regrets, no choice. (but I will have regrets tho for not nagging enough :rotflmao: ) -

She got nag... But she said this year (O levels) she was prepared for a re-run of what happened during PSLE (quoting her) that's why when I got my results she didn't explode as badly because she got experience one time already from psle. Lol.

Obviously your mum feel that you can do it. That's why she feels that you can do better.
