outside i usually will give him face...but i also got my boundaries de...i don't mind he make fun of me infront of his friends..but once it get too overboard..i will open my mouth n counter back..he usually will pick tt hint up as okie time to tone down.

is he inferior to u in terms of family background or education??

i seem to find him a little inferior due to his behaviour. u need to understand, ppl, or especially man, who brace a false front in front of his buddies to say they are an edge over their wives, but back at home have no guts, feels they are inferior to their wives. but being man, they didnt want to lose face in front of their buddies and that explains their behaviour..

he’s bad at managing $$ n he smokes…

coz i just gt a feeling of don’t believe him at all when married…(shot gun)…
esp when he say he wanna quit the job, he was holding on to high position until play stocks n burn a big hole…hence he suffered for a few years in repaying the stocks $$.

he was working as a telemarketer when i met him back at sch…i was taking my degree while he’s taking his part time diploma…(i drop my degree because of the child).

after marriage, not long after he quit the telemarketer job and change another job which didn’t last him for 3mths. all the gynae fees and bb stuffs all i ownself pay.

then he finally got a better job…he just refuse to go work n stay at home. how i know…coz i will call him every morning or e-mail him at his office mail to see he gt reply mi or not.

if the whole day he didn’t reply mi. i will call home…i even went to extend of taking half day to go hm early n spot check him.

until the day which his boss e-mail mi using his e-mail n ask mi if my husband is still interested in working int he company n he had not been going to the office for 2 weeks…

maybe you can do combo of 'soft' and 'hard' - praise him for good behavior, scold him for bad

maybe you can also psycho him and keep telling him how much you need him (or rather, his contribution to the family) = p

ya…the previous big quarrel was on that loh…i think just 1 or 2 mths back only…told him his weakness and told him how much we needed him n stuffs…ended up tt selfish bugger tell mi, he’s sick n tired of the company and for this just once he wanna do things his way…he wanna be happy working and not dread going to work.

if i had gone thru all his craps mention above, the first instance to me was how long is he going to stay jobless again and my pathetic pay is going to feed the whole family again…and i have to go thru the shit again when i finally see light.

i just literally burst everything out at him loh…tt time was so so so angry…

Came across this thread and thought I would just ride on…


Super pissed w e man at home.
My house has lots n lots of new & old stuff that never use.
Recently I found some lobangs to sell off some of the things to recover back at least some $$, if not the things are oso collecting dust at home.

I just told him I sold off sth for a certain amount, ok frankly I oso dunno if that is the "market" price, but I saw different sellers have asked for a variation of prices so I just asked for something comfortable.

That thing was in the house for a number of years already and no one ever do anything about it. When I told him I sold that thing off for that amount, instead of being glad that we had recovered some $$ for things we dun use, instead he asked me, "is that price worth? How much did we pay for it?"

Very pissed upon hearing that. Come on, I mean, if I hadn’t sell it off, it will sit in our house for dunno how long more, before it eventually ends up with, at best Salvation army, garang guni or at worst as trash!

He would nvr bother to think of how to declutter the house or turn around things with $$. Anyway that particular item, one can nvr expect to make profits from selling it off, it’s SECOND HAND.

He is one that doesn’t know how and doesn’t bother about selling things off to recover $$. Then can’t he at least be appreciative of what I have done? His reaction disappoints me!
