DS has been busy with English homework over the weekend.
He's doing short story, & there are quite a number of worksheets on the short story, like analysing the characters & theme etc.

Am not sure on what they're going to be tested as well.

It is ok. Come to secondary school, they will have to experience taking their full responsibility, knowing and face consequences. Parents will learn to be more relax. The kids are undergoing changes to enter their adulthood. So avoid nagging now...

Otah, you're right. I'm learning to let go & tried not to nag too much.
DS is also trying to get use to the kind of schoolwork that he has. It's very different from primary school & sometimes, he does get very agitated.

Hi, great to know your ds in the same class as mine! Did your ds tell you what are the topics to be tested for the 5th Feb Math Test? My ds is really bochap - asked him and the response was the usual 'don't know'.
