This is just my dream…if they can reclaim land till Pulau Ubin join with mainland, Pulau tekong join with mainland, all southern islands join together into a big piece and connected with main land, Jurong island expanded till it join with mainland. Total Singapore land increase by 50%…

Wow! That's a huge ambition! Not sure whether Indonesia will want to sell us all the sand/soil needed.

Regarding the various islands, think they may want to preserve some marine activities. Pulau Tekong ah? Don't think I want to stay near, where bullets are flying all over.

I am quite sure marine activities can be sacrificed for our good. You scared of bullets? At tengah new town, fighter aircarfts will be flying all over your head ,landing and taking off just beside your flats.

Singapore has the highest risk of developing flu pandemics. The previous time the study was released in 2009, SG was not even in the top 10. According to the study countries like UK who is 2nd on the list of risk, are also on the top 10 list of having the infrastructure to cope in case an epidemic develops. SG has the highest risk but is not on the top 10 list of having the ability to cope. Now we still want 6.5 million :skeptical:

If flu still not too bad. What I'm worried is some contagious and deadly disease. So yeah, as I've mentioned in one of my earlier posts, hospitals need to be prepared.

:sad: I wonder why does Singapore need 7 millions, do we have to have all FT into every area of our life? why cant we take up some jobs ourselves? like in service, technical, and construction.....If we are willing to pay higher for these jobs, there will be no need to \"import\" more Foreign workers into artificially created workforce;


7 million in this tiny country state, I wonder what kind of ecological impact to our next generations?!

I'm sure gahmen is well aware that they have been taken for a ride :stupid: but definitely too painful for them to ever admit their execution failure - 面子挂不住 and definitely 找不到台阶下

However, why aren't they acting swiftly to close all these loop holes?
Shouldn't it be common sense to fix these first before even talking about increasing populations :scratchhead:

Oh yes! Forgot one more point. Be prepared for whatever tax increase if Singapore is to buy sand/soil from other countries for your suggested huge project.
