at 3.5 years old I feel it's more about cultivating interests in the laguage... Heard that Berries are pretty fun for learning chinese, and I have not heard of ChengZhu...IMO, do make some effort to speak the language at home, which will definitely help a lot a lot compared to just depending on enrichment classes which might be just 1-3 hours a week...

We too do not speak Mandarin at home. DCs teacher recommended watching cartoons on Ch 8 on weekend mornings. Suggest looking for DVDs of Chinese cartoon series as well as watching some of the kid's programs on Ch 8 etc. important to let DC see as many other kids using Mandarin to get her used to listening to the words.

we don’t need so much professional, but just want dancing & singing with chinese language. So, cheaper, better.

Yes, I agree. at 3.5 years old, I think nurturing your daughter's interest in Chinese will be better, have to instill in them the fact that Chinese is not a difficult subject.

My children, both of them were with Confucius Institute, NTU (the one at NTU Alumni club) since pre-school, they really enjoyed their lessons, always look fwd to go to class. So I guess ultimately, your daughter will have to enjoy attending the classes, or else all your efforts wasted also.

yes, the 中华德育故事 cartoon on Sun mornings is good. highly recommended
