All About Ideas for Birthday Celebration/Presents

A friend of mine buys a gold bullion (those Singapore mint type) for each of her children, the year they turn 12. It is in a very nice casing and it is, indeed, a commemoration of the full cycle of their zodiac. Another friend goes for the lower value of the commemorative bullion…

When I was 12, all I wanted was books and more books. lol. Your daughter is very lucky. I didn't get a cellphone till I was 16, and my birthday presents were usually a family dinner out in a place of my choice and $50 cash unless I specifically request something. I agree that giving her an experience would be more worth it than something material. She's only a kid once, so go do something fun that the whole family can enjoy.
If something material, does she like to read? Maybe a Kindle or something? I LOVE my e-reader, and it goes everywhere with me. I wouldn't be without it. -
boys at 6 are very active, guess a sport theme party might be a good idea.

It is that in-between age now…neither young nor very mature.
Our kids are young once…as they grow, so much time is spent in school.
Maybe you can do something memorable with her…family outing or a stay over at chalet or Sentosa.
I have a problem getting something for my son turning 13. -
Celebrating birthday of your kid is the most exciting and loving thing you can do that will make you and your kid happy. For a 6 year old kid you can plan a party in some garden, calling his/her friends. To make these birthdays more exciting and fun, we provide bouncy castle on rent that can create an extra element in the fun. So, you can http://www.urbangames.ie/bouncingcastles.php to add more fun and excitement to the event. Kids will definitely love it.

I know this might be too late, but a suggestion for other people too, perhaps create something on your own as a birthday present? I browse through other threads, and I've found one which I have done before. You can create a photo book of you and your daughter with the help of P;log (http://myplog.co/) they help you publish it professionally. It's like a book/chapter of you and your daughter's lives. I've created one, and I'm really satisfied by it! It's on our bookshelf now, we treat it as our storybook of our life. Check them out and perhaps get ideas about getting the perfect birthday gifts
wishing you all the best! -
Has anyone any experience doing a karaoke party for kids? What are the things or preparations needed? Kids are between 4-9 yrs old.

Probably you can bring them to places like Go Go Bambini. They'll enjoy themselves at the play area, and they can have other games or meals at a small function room

that's quite a novel idea.
