... but, I just woke up from my nap after being strangled in my sleep. :yikes: ...
:scared: now, THAT's scary... 人吓人,吓死人 -
it sounds like someone who is into occult...kinda like those tangkee who will invite spirits and that kinda thing. wifey ever relate to me a family in yishun who had the whole house painted red and always very dim when seen from the outside, even water their plants with red water (blood?! ). They created alot of trouble for the family at the corner unit, such as putting obstructions right in front of their door, raw chicken head on the neoighbour's plants etc. The TC people always cold sweat when they had to go there to mitigate, sometimes so even try to rope in the police for extra guts!
I've heard of story of people who bought from resale and then when they ripped off the build-in cabinets, they found talisman of all kind on the wall...really spooky!!
To me, most of the time I believe are not warding off spirits but rather inviting spirits to give them extra 'power'. It's widely known in NS that when the unit go for Thailand training, someone will surely come back with some 'gwai chai' or 'gwee kia' and when they ORD, they dunno how to dispose of it properly and ended up every camp will have some sort of spookiness in them!! -

Hmmm.... there's probably some truth in this. When we refurbished a sturdy built-in cupboard, the carpenter actually commented that in SG, almost everyone tears these cabinets down instead of refurbishing them

So these spirits refuse to leave??!?!?!To me, most of the time I believe are not warding off spirits but rather inviting spirits to give them extra 'power'. seriously, there are many ‘attack in sleep’ stories from NUS hostels (Kent Ridge is really spooky!) and army camps!!
When in Tekong, I was once ‘pounced’ on by something while in my sleep…till today, I can still remember my struggle to break free!! :!: -

Now, this sounds like a job for winth's brother!
\"who do you call? Winth's Brother!\"
He's still on his quest on 'trying to be normal'.
Oh... I have already moved out of my house, plus my tenant too. So I think it's no longer that creepy to share it here.
This guy (old one) likes to stay in my tenant's room. My tenant is extremely yin and she can 'feel' presences. She told us before that she felt that 'it' is staying in her room and goes roaming around when she comes home at night.
Once, my brother was in my house and he walked past her room (which is always closed) and sensed hostility towards him. He opened it up and was scared by how it looked (it was trying to scare my brother away). He went in and did some 'talking' to it, before 'it' looked normal again. That's the resident in our house which we didn't manage to 'chase' it away the other time, due to a slight overlook by the master. 'It' told my bro that 'it' likes my tenant and just wants to look at her. :faint: Till now, I didn't dare to tell my tenant.
A couple of times before, my tenant would feel something was on top of her. Once she was woken up and saw an 'old man's image' with his head projected upwards towards the ceiling (elongated type) that it scared the shit out of her. She could sense that it wasn't hostile so she just kept telling 'it' not to disturb her. -

Anyway, I don't think you are silly ....
I do know a few who sleep with an eye mask/patch on ....
