I got the first one but not quite sure about the second question, the part where you illustrated:

Adding all…
Jane + Kelly + Linda –> (120+80+160)/2 = 180
Linda –> 180-120 = 60
Jane –> 180 - 80 = 100
Kelly –> 180 - 160 = 20

Thing is, wouldn’t there be duplication if we added them all?

And I have difficulty understanding the rational behind dividing the total by 2.

Please could you enlighten me further?
