I need help! I don't know how to do this question.

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii44/elishahy88/IMG_04051_zpsb7291b1a.jpg\">

3/10 of A= = 2/5 of C
6/10 of A = 6/15 of C
A -> 10 units, shaded A -> 6 units, unshaded A -> 4 unuts
C-> 15 units, shaded C -> 6 units, unshaded C -> 9 units
shaded B -> 12 units (total shaded)
80% of B -> 12 units, B -> 15 units, unshaded B -> 3 units

can u continue from here?

cheers.

Is it 10 + 15 + 15 - 12 = 28 (units that whole figure has)
Shaded: 6 + 6 = 12

Answer: 16/28

Is this correct?
yes... 4/7 in simplest form

cheers.

Hi mathsguru, pls kindly help me with this question:-

A delivery service charges $18 for each item delivered safely to a customer, but it has to pay $38 for every item that is damaged during delivery. If a customer pays a total of $48376 for an order of 3988 glass sculptures, how many glass sculptures are delivered safely without damage?

Thank you very much.

Find the equation of the line which passes through the origin and is parallet to AB.

Gradient of AB = (7-0)/(0-5) = -1. 4

equation of line parallel to AB and passing thru the origin is

y = -1.4x

cheers.
